Experienced Neurologist Dr. Alireza Minagar

Dr. Alireza Minagar has served in several roles during his 20+ year career in medicine, including neurologist, neuroimmunologist, clinical trialist, and senior medical writer. Between 2001 and 2020, he functioned as Chairman, director of clinical operations, and professor of neurology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC-Shreveport). Dr. Alireza Minagar spent four years as the director of neuroscience development at LSUHSC-Shreveport, gaining experience in budget negotiations and clinical site management team leadership. Dr. Minagar has over a decade of experience in clinical development, including Phase I-IV clinical trials. He began his career in medicine as a senior medical writer, a position that involved extensive research and data analysis. In addition to his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Minagar holds a master of science in bioinformatics from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a master of business administration from Louisiana State University.
